Because of my tenacity and negotiation skills on council we have now broke ground and will have our new school next term of council.

Mike McCann is a first-term City Councillor representing Ward 10 in southeast Barrie. Mike was born and raised in Barrie, and he is very passionate about his community. Professionally, Mike is an entrepreneur specializing in risk management and new business development. Mike has brought his business skills to many industries from hospitality to alternative energy. An avid tennis player, Mike’s personal life is filled with fitness and building companionship with friends. Having traveled through Europe, Africa, and Asia, Mike likes to explore new cultures and relax during his time off.
